Adams Extended care Center
The Adams Extended Care Center is a 14-bed skilled nursing facility that provides quality shortterm convalescent care to patients whom require further care beyond their hospitilization.
A Safe Transition To Home
The transitional apartment will be available for patients so therapists can monitor client abilities in a real environment and find solutions prior to discharge from home.
Hydrotherapy Pool
The HydroWorx® Pool is 11 feet by 6-1/2 feet and can be as deep as 6 feet. The pool floor depth is adjustable, so when you step in, you are not in water and the therapist controls the descent. The floor of the pool can be a treadmill and it starts out at just .2 miles per hour. Underwater cameras and viewing monitors have been installed to enhance our healthcare professionals diagnostic abilities while evaluating the patient’s underwater therapy. The HydroWorx® pool is also accompanied by resistance jets with massage hoses; great for deep tissue massage following your therapy.
Special Information
We have our own beauty parlor/barber shop on campus where we attend to your hair care needs or you may ask your personal hair dresser to visit you.
We provide 24-hour care, a daily activity schedule and social services to assist in discharge planning. We also provide X-ray and Laboratory services, a registered dietician to manage special dietary needs and consulting physicians. Back to Independence QUICKLY!
Our new center focuses on a team approach offering our specialized team of rehabilitation nurses and physical, occupational and speech therapy seven days a week to get individuals back to independence as quickly and safely as possible.
