Volunteers

Volunteers are caring and concerned individuals who give of their time and talents to serve here at Woodcrest of Decatur.

By volunteering, you can enjoy the satisfaction one gets from working with our residents. You will learn about Woodcrest, share your skill and ideas with others, and provide a much-needed service to the staff and residents who live at Woodcrest.

When you become a volunteer, you support the vision of Woodcrest. You will assist the residents, families, and staff in various ways. You will become part of the Woodcrest family. Making a difference in someone's life, as well as your own, will be a very rewarding experience.

Volunteers have an opportunity to work with personnel in many departments that provide much-needed services. Flexibility within the volunteer program meets the needs of the volunteers, as well as Woodcrest. The volunteers have provided us and our residents with many encouraging words and deeds. We are proud to have each and every one of them as volunteers.

There are many volunteer opportunities here at Woodcrest. Please contact Betsy Dickerson at (260) 724-2145 Ext. 4352, or just stop in and see her at Adams County Memorial Hospital's Health Services Complex, located at 172 North Second Street in Decatur. Betsy will be happy to inform you of the many opportunities in volunteering and of the benefits to you by becoming a volunteer.
