A new hospital is under construction nearby and a main road to downtown Decatur is at our access!
A genuine concern for our health and happiness is displayed by the staff at Woodcrest. We rise to a day full of activities geared to our best interests and abilities. In a typical day, we may go out to eat in Ft. Wayne, see a play or a musicial. We may play pool, dominoes or cards, or attend a group meeting of our own interest. We love Coffee Hour and visiting our own Beauty Shop or Library. Exercises are geared just for us. We do them twice a week and more should we so desire. A woodworking shop is also available for those who enjoy this hobby.
The Crafts Class, with its paper decorations and table centerpieces, keep our hands and minds busy. The Art Class, with all the paintings, brings our talents out to the utmost. The visiting Church Services with faithful volunteers are there to meet our spiritual needs. From Girl Scouts to Home Extension Club, Woodcrest is the place to be. From Support Group Meetings to Going Shopping, Woodcrest offers a wide variety of activities. Oh well, what more can I say? Come to Woodcrest and see for yourself! I will meet you at the Ice Cream Shop and we will share the scoop!
